Job Description:

Mariotics Technologies is currently seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Node.js. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in backend development and a strong proficiency in Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient backend services and APIs using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL) and integrate them with backend services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and reliability of the software.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability by implementing caching mechanisms, asynchronous programming, and other techniques.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in backend development to continuously improve our technical stack and development processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Node.js and Express framework.
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
